Medway Community College has today played host to the second day of Yr 3/4 sportshall athletics events. Leaders in Year 9 from the school ran the activities with support from the Chatham area SSCo's. Schools could bring a team of up to 30 children to compete, many of whom had received training prior to taking part.

The results were as follows;

1st St Benedicts 616 points
2nd St Margrets 608 points
3rd Luton Juniors 598 points
4th Kingfisher 1 586 points
5th St Marys Island 564 points
6th New Road Bids 536 points
7th New Road 508 points
8th Kingfisher 2 258 points

This is an excellent competition allowing many young people to experience athletics for the first time. Well done to all leaders and participants involved!
