Greenacre and Howard School Sport Partnerships today joined forces to offer a PLT conference for all PE co-ordinators in Medway infant, junior and primary schools. The day was well attended and saw a range of topics and workshops offered to support the teachers in offering a wide range of activities and opportunities for their pupils in schools, to ensure everyone has access to 3 hours per week of PE and Sport within their school.

Balfour Juniors so close in MYG rugby….

Balfour Juniors drew the last game to give the MYG tag rugby title to Sherwin Knight Juniors. Balfour ended up 2nd with St Andrews in 3rd. Well done to Pilgrim who won a voucher for winning the fair play award.
31 schools entered with the following from GSSP: Balfour Juniors, Walderslade, Lordswood Juniors, Spinnens Acre, St Thomas More, Luton Juniors, St Michaels, St Marys Island, Warren Wood, Pilgrim, AllSaints.

First Secondary School Games for 2009/10

Greenacre School Sport Partnership Schools had a successful day at the second annual Secondary School Games competition. The event, for Yr 8&9, saw 11 teams taking part at Holcombe Hockey club.

New Competition for Yr3/4 pupils

24 pupils from Ridge Meadow and Walderslade Primary today took part in our first Tri Golf tournament. Leaders from Yr13 at Greenacre lead the activities.
