RBS Year 3/4 Rounders Festival

3rd July 2009

The rain managed to stay away for the rounders festival today. For the 3rd year in a row, RBS have been the proud sponsors of the event who also came to join in the fun at Spinnens Acre Junior School today. There were many excellent displays of batting and fielding by all teams today with many progressing as the day went on. Leaders from Greenacre School and Walderslade Girls umpired all the matches.

The winners were Walderslade Primary School, who only managed to beat Ridge Meadow into second place because of the amount of rounders they scored. Kingfisher came in 3rd place, also beating Spinnens Acre by the amount of rounders scored. Warren Wood, defending champions from 2008 came in 5th place with Glencoe Juniors and Wayfield in 6th and 7th place respectively.
