Having won the Medway and Kent finals of the futsal championships, Greenacre Yr 7's qualified to take part in the National Finals in Sheffield. The boys performed excellently earning themselves a place in the final and eventually coming second! Well done to all involved.

Kent Key Steps Gymnastics Competition

Two schools from the GSSP today took part in the County final for Gymnastics. Both teams had qualified by winning the Greenacre School Sport Partnership event. The event was held at Mote Park Leisure Centre in Maidstone with all the 'big' gymnastics equipment set up prior to a competition happening at the weekend.
Luton Juniors Yr 3/4 team and Horsted Infants Yr 1/2 team were our representatives. The children had all made great progress since first learning the routines for the previous competition.
Luton Juniors were placed as the 5th team in Kent and Horsted Infants placed as the 4th team - an excellent result for both teams. Special mention to Emily Featherstone from Horsted Infants School who also won the overall competition for Yr 1/2. Well done to all involved.

GSSP Multi skills Festival

Holcombe Hockey club today played host to the Yr 1 and 2 Greenacre School Sport Partnership multi skills festival. Teams entered from Horsted Infants, St Johns Infants, St Peters Infants, Lordswood Infants, Luton Infants, St Marys Island Primary School, Wayfield Primary School, Kingfisher Primary School, Balfour Junior School and Greenvale Infant School. A Year 3/4 from Horsted Juniors Also joined the fun!
The children took part in a series of individual challenges followed by some team games. Leaders from Walderslade Girls School and Medway Community College led the activities.
First ever Greenacre SSP Sportshall athletics event!
10th and 17th June 2009
Medway Community College has today played host to the second day of Yr 3/4 sportshall athletics events. Leaders in Year 9 from the school ran the activities with support from the Chatham area SSCo's. Schools could bring a team of up to 30 children to compete, many of whom had received training prior to taking part.
The results were as follows;
