5 schools today competed in the Medway Youth Games Inter Cricket tournament. After the rain cleared early on the conditions proved ideal with many good performances from all teams. The Greenacre Yr 7's came out as champions after beating Thomas Aveling in the finals.

An inter school cycling competition was held today at Bradfields School, with Bower Grove School from Maidstone attending to compete. This was the first competition between the two schools in cycling which saw pupils demonstrating and trying out their skills in agility races, drag races and an endurance course through the woods. The event was led by John Scripps, British Cycling's Go Ride community sports coach. After some very close scores were announced a team from Bradfields eventually proved the victors!
