Greenacre School Host Basketball Training and Inter School Competition
12th December 2008
BTEC students from Greenacre school today hosted a basketball coaching session and competition for pupils from the nearby schools; Ridge Meadow, St Thomas More and Spinnens Acre Junior School. The pupils from the nearby schools have been having coaching sessions from 6th formers prior to the event.
Activemark and Sportsmark Results announced!

The 2008 Activemark and Sportsmark awards have just been announced. Schools were awarded the mark if they had over 90% of young people participating in high quality PE and School Sport per week. Winning schools will be presented with a certificate and be able to use the 2008 Activemark or Sportsmark plaque.

Students brave the cold!
2nd December 2008
71 teams from 13 of the secondary schools across Medway today braved the freezing wind and rain to run in the Medway Schools Cross Country Competition. Sir Joseph Williamson again hosted the annual event and did a great job of setting up the course around the school grounds and the Preistfields rugby club. There were some outstanding individual performances and these students will now be invited to represent Medway in the Kent finals. The overall team results are as follows;
